Oskarshamns AIK winger Christopher Mbamba could miss the Ghana-Kenya game due to documentation.

The gangling attacker is yet to have his Kenyan passport which will allow him to feature for the Harambee Stars.

Mbamba was born in Harare, Zimbabwe to a Namibian father and a Kenyan mother whilst he also holds Namibian passport.

He is eligible to play for Zimbabwe, Namibia and Kenya but needs full clearance as well as a passport from the East African country to play.

Migne hinted that Mbamba missed training this morning as he was chasing his Kenyan passport ahead of the team’s departure to Ghana.

“He (Mbamba) missed the session in the morning because he was working on his documentation and I hope by the end of the day he will be able to get it,” Migne said.

“He is an interesting player and will compete to be on final list for AFCON. I asked him to come because I saw his quality and I watched him in some games and it was interesting to see. But I need to know him more and see whether he can compete well with the group.”

Mbamba is yet to feature for any national team and the game against Ghana is going to be his first.
