Chief Executive Officer for Dar es Salaam Group of Companies Alhaji Yusif Ibrahim has recorded his life journey in a book which was launched on Friday, March 8, 2019.

Titled 'Paradise is Unpaved', the book seeks to provide deep insights into his political experiences as well as how he defied the odds of being a failure, took every step of the journey by faith in Allah and kept pushing till he got his breakthrough.

Recounting his humble beginnings, one of which he worked as a cab driver on the streets of New York, Alhaji expressed that readers would find the book useful and informative, especially the chapters which talks about how his deprivations became the driving force to his success.

Mr Ibrahim was eulogized by friends including celebrated Ghanaian Economist and Investment consultant Kwame Pianim and former Chief Executive of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, Tsatsu Tsikata.

Both applauded him for his kind, humble persona as well as how he has impacted the lives of many, especially those in the Zongo communities in the areas of health, education and so on.

"We’re proud of what you’ve made out of the unpaved roads and harsh beginnings you’ve had. Im very proud of the fact that you became the captain of Ghana Polo Club when your father was a jockey. I know how generous a human being you are and how you’ve helped others. For instance how you cared for me when I was in prison, when I was close to death". Tsatsu Tsikata said

Alhaji further disclosed that all monies raised from auctioning the book would be used to support patients who cannot afford their bills in some hospitals including FOCOS Orthopaedic Centre
