Dwubeng makes Al Wasl debut

Ghanaian teenager George Dwubeng made his Al Wasl debut in the Gulf League on Tuesday when they lost 2-1 at home to Bani Yas.

Dwubeng who joined the Dubai-based club on the final day of the 2019 winter transfer window replaced Abdulrahman Ali in the 80th minute in the crunch encounter.

Despite playing ten minutes aside injury time, Dwubeng was a delight to watch in the defensive midfield role as he brought stability to the Al Wasl team.

He is expected to start in their next game this weekend against Al Wahda.
