Cheetah FC attacker Emmanuel Toku has joined the Black Satellites of Ghana ahead of the 2019 Under 20 AFCON which kicks off in Niger tomorrow (Saturday).

The left-footed forward is replacing New Edubiase striker Basit Abdul Rahman Umar who has been ruled out of the tournament due to injury.

Toku left Accra on Friday morning for Niamey and he is expected to play a key role in Jimmy Cobblah’s struggling side.

He was Ghana’s best player during the WAFU under 20 tournament last month scoring a brace against Nigeria in the 4-2 defeat.

Toku was part of Ghana’s Under 17 team which reached the second round of the World Cup in India two years ago.
