Kennedy Boateng eyes national team call-up

Ghanaian youngster Kennedy Kofi Boateng has expressed his readiness to represent the national U-23 sides and the Black Stars if called upon.

Boateng, 22, has been a mainstay in defence for Austrian second division club, SV Ried since joining them on loan from LASK Linz.

He featured in all games in the first round where SV Ried lies 3rd on the league table with 28 points.

Speaking to Adamu Muftawu of Radio Gold Sports in an interview, Kennedy Boateng says he is ready to play for the Black Meteors or the Black Stars.

“How ready I am for the national team call-up? I think I am very ready because it has been my dream to play for even the senior national, the Black Stars,” he said.

“So I am just waiting for the opportunity to prove to Ghanaians how ready I am to be part of the national U-23 qualifiers ahead.”

“I am very ready to prove to Ghanaians that they have a wonderful defender like me Kennedy Boateng so that I can show Ghanaians what I am made of.”

“So I am very much ready for the call-up and I will prove to Ghanaians what I am made of.”

He previously played for Ghana Premier League side WAFA before moving to Austria to join LASK LINZ.
