Sammy Gyamfi exposed for lying about Akufo-Addo’s trip to South Africa

The National Communications Officer of the National National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi, has been allegedly exposed for his comments about president Akufo-Addo’s trip to South Africa.

According to a report by MyNewsGH.com, Gyamfi stated that president Akufo-Addo failed to seek permission from parliament before leaving for South Africa.

He added that the president was spotted enjoying himself at the Global Citizen Concert Gateway held at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.

Gyamfi went on to say that some ladies seen in a video of the president dancing are actually his daughters and relatives.

He further argued that the flouted constitutional provisions and therefore exhibited the highest forms of insensitivity and irresponsibility.

However, a letter dated November 30, 2018 revealed that the president sought permission from parliament.
