National Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joshua Hamidu Akamba, has suggested the President of the republic H.E Nana Akufo-Addo is suffering from memory loss hence forgets easily.

He is also claiming that the president would have scored A+ for being a chronic liar.

"If we are to grade liars, the president would have scored A+ because he is a chronic liar. The president and his vice president are chronic lairs’’, he said.

Making reference to the number of promises made by the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Akamba said, "they told us when they assume office, nurses will no longer suffer, they told us the cedi will stabilize when they assume office, they told us they were going to give each constituency 1 million dollar, they also promised to have a factory each in a district. The NPP also promised to protect the public purse but they have customized their vehicles in gold. Nana Addo lied to Ghanaians to vote for him and after winning, he is now enjoying at the expense of Ghanaians. Ghanaians are now suffering. Go to Abossey Okai and ask the spare parts dealers what they are going through.’’

Mr Akamba further fired more salvos at the president and alleged that, he [Nana Addo], is the chief architect of thievery, corruption and loot with his appointees, family and friends being part of the looting brigade.

Mr Akamba said: ‘‘when it comes to thievery, Nana Addo and his family members and the NPP are thieves.’’

He made reference to the cash for seat saga, the BOST saga among other corrupt cases recorded under the Nana Addo administration and how his appointees were cleared from all allegations.

He was reacting to Nana Addo’s comments that the NDC will stay in opposition for a long time due to their lack of integrity.

The president has said NDC, in its desperation to come back to power to “create, loot and share”, has resorted to propaganda and falsehood, adding that the biggest opposition party is doing so because it has realised it will spend a long time out of government.

Debunking claims by the NDC and its Minority in parliament that his government intends relocating the University Environment and Sustainable Development (UESD) from Somanya to his hometown Bunso in the Eastern Region, the president said on Thursday, 22 November 2018 on day one of his three-day tour of the region that: “I come from the area of Bunso, so it is very easy for them [NDC] to come and tell you that: ‘All the things that are meant for you, he is now taking it to his hometown.’ That is not the basis on which I am governing Ghana. I am not standing only for the people of Akim Abuakwa or Bunso, but I stand for the entire nation of Ghana”.

But Mr Akamba insisted that the president is ‘’absolutely corrupt and a chronic lair who has created thievery at the Jubilee House.
