Asamoah Ghana has denied a meeting with Ghana President Nana Akufo-Addo, launching a tetchy social media fight with GHANAsoccernet.com
The football website reported on Tuesday that Gyan, together with Andre Ayew were billed to hold a meeting with the Ghanaian leader.
Circling media reports claimed the meeting is aimed at ironing out the differences and seeming tension between the two players.
But Gyan, who plays for Kayserispor, has been ruffled by the news, launching a tirade at the website and threatening to block their account on twitter.
“Make stupid stories for money cos negative stories travel. I don’t blame you. Next unnecessary story again and you blocked cos you not credible and you at unprofessional. You will never learn,” Gyan wrote in reply to the tweet of the story on twitter.
