The Wask Family Foundation has been launched in Accra to give the less privileged the needed support in health, education and social welfare.

Officially launching the foundation on Saturday November 3, 2018, the founder, Dr. Williams Anarfi Sarpong, popularly called Dr. WASK who is also the Chief Executive officer of Wask Group of Companies said the foundation is also aimed at alleviating poverty and creating a sense of belonging amongst the less privileged in society.

The foundation’s philanthropic activity kicked off at James Town a suburb of Accra where over 500 children were fed and entertained.

Welcoming the foundation at the James Town Fishing Harbour, Nii Okai Okaishie, an executive member of the Ghana National Canoe Fishermen Council said the community is facing serious sanitation issues due to lack of waste collection bins.

He therefore appealed to DR. WASK to provide them with waste collection bins to solve the sanitation issue.

Dr. WASK who also specializes in waste management (Recycling), with his company’s name as TRAMO Ghana promised to help the community by providing them with bins.

He said there will be a sensitization and training workshop, for the community on the proper way of managing waste before the bins are giving out.

Dr. WASK indicated that the foundation will soon visit prisons, orphanage homes, widows and abandoned communities.

“The WASK Family Foundation will be doing some more donations before the year 2018 ends”, he said.
