Assemblyman donates school uniforms to pupils

The Assembly man for Dadease Electoral Area in the Bekwai Municipal, Hon. Peter Agyei Sarpong has donated 120 School uniforms worth 6,500 Ghana Cedis to the Ahwiren Methodist Primary School.

Hon. Agyei Sarpong did this donation together with his foundation with the name FOUNDATION FOR CHILD VISION.

Last year, Mr. Sarpong together with his foundation distributed 1,500 exercise books to the basic schools in Ahwiren.

The main idea is to support the needy to get good foundation in Education so that they don't feel negleted.

This uniforms were distributed to the pupils in KG 1&2, class 1, and other needy children in the School.

He appealed to philantropist to donate to the foundation so that they can do more than what he has done.

Mr. Hayford Antwi, headteacher of Ahwren Methodist Primary thanked the assembly man and also shared some the problems in the School.

The members of Foundation for Child Vision appealed to the general public that when they come out to solicit for funds to support the foundation they shouldn't turn them down. The appeal also went to drivers and their mates.



The pupils were happy and asked God to bless the philanthropist to live long and support others and promised to use the items to achieve its intended purposes.
