Afriyie Acquah to get improved contract from Emploi

According to reports, Empoli will improve the contract of Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah and seven others a new deal as the club hope to tie down their brightest asserts.

The 26-year-old has hit the grounds running after joining the Blues on loan from Torino in the summer.

The length of his current contract which ends in June 2019 is a source of worry for the decision-makers of the Serie A outfit who are already considering making a significant new offer.

The energetic middleman earns around 500 thousand euro per season, an agreement that will be discussed again very soon if he continues to impress.

Acquah was named in the Serie A Team of the Week for matchday one following his jaw-dropping performance for Empoli in their win over Cagliari.
