Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan says it is always special to beat arch-rivals Hearts of Oak following their back-to-back wins in the two-legged friendly games at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The Porcupine Warriors deservedly defeated their sworn adversaries 2-0 in the return encounter of the two-legged friendly clash courtesy goals from Obed Owusu and Emmanuel Gyamfi.

And Annan, who came to the rescue of the Porcupines on several occasions, believes there is so much value on games between both sides saying it is more than only three points to the fans.

“Hearts and Kotoko games are special games,” he stated in a post-match interview.

“Moreover, for the fans, it is more than three points,” he continued.

“For we as a team, we go into every game approaching it the same way but when you win against Hearts of Oak, it is special because of the fans.”
