Bayern Munich star Jerome Boateng says his interest in fashion has forced him to make a career out of trends and issues with regards to entertainment.

The Germany World Cup winner is one of the most fashionable football icons and it's no surprise he has interest in becoming a fashion journalist.

During the summer, the player with a Ghanaian background was pushing for a move to France fo play for Paris Saint Germain. But, according to reports the City of Paris would have helped his ambitions of making the run aways.

Paris is regarded as the capital city of European fashion.

"With this magazine I want to transmit my passion for fashion , sports and music and tell interesting stories from my own point of view," he said at the presentation of the new title.

"My project is something more ambitious, " says Boateng, "I intend to explore emerging trends, not only in fashion, but also in music and everything related to sports . And of those trends that I find, I will choose the ones that I like the most to compose a very personal proposal ".

Boateng's journalistic work will be assisted by the agencies Territory and Roc Nation, the latter founded by the American rapper Jay-Z in 2008 and representing artists of the stature of the singers Rihanna or Shakira .

Other footballers take advantage of their popularity and their obligatory dedication to the image by creating their own fashion lines. They are global icons, trademarks of great value in themselves, and take advantage of the advertising claim by creating their own personal logos. Cristiano Ronaldo has launched his own fashion line, CR7 Denim , specializing mostly in jeans.
