Outspoken veteran Ghanaian trainer, coach J.E Sarpong says he is happy with the stance taken by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on referees who were captured the expo?e by Tiger Eye Pi.

Ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his Tiger Eye Pi on June 6 and 7, 2018 premiered an undercover documentary on football corruption dubbed #Number12 which captured about 77 Ghanaian referees and other top officials of the Ghana Football Association.

CAF in a letter on Monday August 6, 2018 handed various degrees of punishments to some Ghanaian referees who were captured in the video documentary on football corruption.

According to the veteran trainer, this decision by CAF has confirm his position that Ghanaian referees are wicked and corrupt people.

"When I said, if the referees don't change from their evil ways we'll one day kill a referee on the pitch, they drugged me to the ethics committee to punish me for causing fear and panic but now that has been confirmed."

"Am very happy for what has happened to them because they're wicked people."
