The promising youngster has now joined the Maroons until end of the new season Ghana youth international Zuberu Sharani has completed a season-long loan deal from Dreams FC to Sparta Prague with an option to make the deal permanent, the Ghana Premier League side have confirmed.

The 18-year-old was initially linked with a move to local giants Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko after an incredible debut season in the top-flight. However, the ongoing suspension in football in Ghana made such move impossible.

"Dreams Football Club is delighted to announce that it has reached an agreement with AC Sparta Prague over the transfer of Zuberu Sharani," a club statement read.

"The two clubs have agreed on a one-year loan deal with an option for a permanent transfer which will be for a further three years.

"Sharani Zuberu grew through the ranks from the youth team, Still Believe FC to become an important member of the first team. He played a key role in Dreams FC’s return to the Premier League and the success in the G8 tournament. We wish him the best of luck," the statement added.

Zuberu becomes the second Ghanaian to join Prague in the summer transfer window after Benjamin Tetteh, who arrived from Bohemians 1905.
