Akufo-Addo enskinned Lebgimsim Naa

President Nana Akufo-Addo has been enskinned as Lebgimsim Naa (Development Chief) by the Overlord of Mamprugu, the Nayiri, Naa Bohogu Abdulai Mahami Sheriga.

This was after Mr Akufo-Addo had paid a courtesy call on the Overlord of Mamprugu on Saturday 21 July 2018, where, amongst others, he indicated that the construction of an improved water system for Nalerigu, Gambaga and Walewale, all in Mamprugu, would commence in September.

Class FM’s Northern regional correspondent Mohammed Gadafi reported that the President also visited Nalerigu-Gambaga, Nasia and Bunkpurugu.

At Nasia, Mr Akufo-Addo cut the sod for the construction of the 25.7 kilometre Janga-Nasia road, which is scheduled to be completed in July 2020.

Mr Akufo-Addo will visit other areas as part of a 3-day tour of the Northern Region and inspect various projects and infrastructural developments.
