Accountancy and Finance Awards 2018 opens nomination

Nominations are open for the 2nd edition of Ghana Accountancy and Finance Awards 2018, which is set to come off on 9th November 2018 at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel.

The Ghana Accountancy and Finance Awards (GAF Awards) provides a platform to recognise individuals and companies that play a significant role in the practice and development of the accounting and finance sector while recognizing the key functions within the industry that promote standards

The successfully organized maiden edition brought together stakeholders including the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, National Pensions Regulatory Authority, Ministry of Finance led by the Deputy Minister, giant companies and key associations within the sector.

The second edition has gained partnership with Pension Africa and Africa Business Magazine to continue to propel the excellence in these sectors in Ghana.

Due to the enormity of the sector which was not covered in the maiden edition, new categories have been added to the 2nd edition.

This year’s edition will celebrate the excellence of finance teams, insurance companies, finance houses, investment banks, treasury and markets, savings and loans, microfinance, pensions, and outstanding individuals in these sectors.

The categories this year includes; Insurance Broker of the Year ,Claims Initiative of the Year The Customer Care Award – Insurance ,Digital Insurance Innovation of the Year Insurance Brand of the year General Insurer of the Year Leading Motor Insurance of the year Leading Life Insurance of the year, Leading Health Insurance of the year ,Overall Insurer of the year ,Most Promising Brokerage Firm ,Brokerage Firm of the year ,Investment Deal of the Year, Leading Investment advisor of the Year, Most Promising Investment Firm and Leading Money Market Fund of the Year.

The other categories include Currency trading house of the year, Inflation house of the year Bank of the year, Credit portfolio manager of the year, Fixed-income trading house of the year, Best Bank for Corporate Currency Hedging, Leading Savings and Loans Product, Leading Savings and Loans Company of the year, Most Promising Saving and Loans Company of the year, Customer Service Award – Saving and Loans and Brand of the year – Savings and Loans
