Former Managing Director of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited (BOST), Alfred Obeng Boateng, has denied media reports that he has been hospitalised following his dismissal.

He said, he is not sick and is going about his normal activities.

A statement by Mr Obeng Boateng on Sunday June 24 said: “My attention has been drawn to various online publications circulating that I have been hospitalised following the recent decision from the presidency terminating my appointment as the MD of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company (BOST).

“I wish to state that I am healthy and happily going about my normal activities. I am therefore entreating my supporters and well-wishers to ignore the said publications.”

He was removed from office by President Nana Addp Dankwa Akufo-Addo on June 5, 2018. The president did not assign any reason to the termination of his appointment.
