Late Prof. Atta Mills concealed Anas exposé on Cocoa, ECG - David Prah

Public Relations Officer (PRO) for the National Service Secretariat (NSS), Mr. David Prah, is suggesting that the former National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration under late Mills concealed information regarding a number of exposes conducted by Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his Tiger Eye PI Team.

He alleged that the piece on the cocoa smuggling had the names of late Mills and former president Mahama mentioned but they failed to take the needed action. ‘’The name of late Mills was mentioned in the video.

The name of then vice president, Mr. John Dramani Mahama was mentioned. What steps did they take? They didn’t take any step. They covered up and allowed some individuals to be punished and others left to go unpunished.’’

He commended President Akufo-Addo for his bold decision after watching a portion of the Number 12 video which is set to premiere at the International Conference Centre on June 6, 2018.

‘’Nana Addo wanted to set a good example. I will commend the president for his bold decision but I will not agree with the NDC on their disagreement over his action. They cannot dictate to the president.’’

In his view, the method used by Anas is not problematic because we have to use any means possible to expose looters and corrupt individuals who steal from the state for their own selfish interest.

Mr. Prah, commenting on the allegations raised by Kennedy Agyapong said, he supports the Assin Central MP because his allegations are serious. ‘’I support Kennedy Agyapong on some of his allegations.

I will encourage Ghanaians to allow us watch both videos. Kennedy Agyapong has promised to expose Anas and I know it is going to be an interesting adventure,’’ he said. ‘’He who calls for equity must come with clean hands.

Without Kennedy Agyapong, we wouldn’t have known these things about Anas,’’ he added. Meanwhile, the former MP for La Dadekotopon, Nii Amasah Namoale has slammed Kennedy Agyapong, for attacking Anas Aremeyaw Anas. He wondered why the MP is attacking Anas over his latest work when he failed to do same in the past.

He however noted that the secret recording of people without their consent is unlawful. ‘’The way Anas is embolden means he has sought permission over what he does.

If people are aggrieved about his modus operandi, they should have to go to court. On the face value, I believe Anas has sought permission before doing what he id doing.’’ He has challenged Kennedy Agyapong to go to court if he believes he [Anas] is an extortionist and corrupt.

‘’I am disappointed in Kennedy Agyapong for attacking Anas. Is it because he is going to expose the president? I don’t agree with Kennedy Agyapong and in his workers.

His employees have lost their dignity working for him. I would have resigned if I was working for him,’’ he said. He has also admonished Anas to seek legal redress over the allegations leveled against him because if someone has accused you in the open, and you have refused to clear your name, people will believe in the allegations. He further challenged Anas to confirm or deny the existence of an expose on former appointees of Mahama.

He concluded by denying the allegations raised by David Prah and further called on Mr. Agyapong to show his alleged videos before Anas premieres his latest piece.
