Saddick Adams has confirmed that he has been put on transfer by Asante Kotoko.

On Friday evening news broke that, Adams and other five players have been placed on transfer.

Though official statement from the club regarding Adams’ departure is yet to released but the former Ghana U-17 star in an interview with Kumasi-based Nyhira FM confirmed his departure from the club.

“It’s true I was called by the Kotoko management to find a club to play, so I’m now on a transfer list of Asante Kotoko,” Adams said.
“There are some hidden stories in the club but I don’t want to make it open secret so I’m keeping it confidential.”

After Adams joined Kotoko, there was rumours that he is the highest paid player at the club but the 28 year-old forward has vehemently denied those reports.

He added, “About my salary…I will say there are some players who earn more than what I get in a month as monthly salary, that is why I didn’t want to disclose my salary to the public. It’s never true I’m the highest paid player in the club.”

Last season, Adams’s hat-trick helped Kotoko to lift the MTN FA Cup – the Porcupine Warriors beat Hearts of Oak 3-1 in Tamale.
