An aspiring National Organiser of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammi Awuku, has said he will not disappoint the party and Ghanaians if voted for in the party’s upcoming National Delegates conference.

The party will be going to the polls on 7 July 2018 to elect new national executives who will steer affairs for the next four years.

Mr Awuku, who, until recently, was the National Youth Organiser for the NPP, told Chief Jerry Forson on Ghana Yensom that the he is going to fall on the same skills he employed in his previous position, to work for the party’s 2020 victory.

He noted that for Ghana to develop, the NPP will need to stay in office for long in order to implement good policies to impact the lives of Ghanaians.

“I won’t disappoint as National Organiser if voted for. The same Sammi Awuku in opposition is the same Sammi Awuku in government. I will work as the National Organiser to keep the party in office.”

“We are going to repeat the work we did in 2016, in the 2020 elections, and, so, I plead with the delegates to vote for me. For Ghana to move forward the NPP will need to be in power for long to continue implementing the proper programmes we have for Ghanaians,” he added.
