Northern Minister woos Iranian Investors and business executives

The Northern Regional Minister, Hon. Salifu Sa-eed has called on investors and business executives in Iran to take advantage of the numerous investment opportunities of the region, reiterated that, the region is as vast as its investment potentials.

According to him, the Northern Region is the best business destination in the West African sub-region, adding that, the region which is surrounded with other neighbouring countries including Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast and Togo do business in the region.

Hon Sa-eed said the region has both human and natural resources that is essential for business growth.

The Northern Regional Minister who was addressing Iranian investors and business executives at a business seminar in the Iranian Capital, reiterated that, the government of Ghana through its developmental initiatives values investments partnership especially with the people of Iran.

The Northern Regional Minister, Hon Salifu Sa-edd on Friday 20th April 20018, led government delegation comprising of both public official and business men to the Republic of Iran for an Investment Seminar.

The move according to a press release is to secure business and investment opportunities for the northern region and Ghana.

Hon Salifu Sa-eed who made a fantastic presentation on the strength and opportunities of the Northern Region puts more emphasis on Education, Health Care Delivery and Agriculture Development.

The Minister lauded the government of Iran for their support to the Northern Region over the years through its ARD project and the provision of scholarships packages.

Hon Sa-eed again emphasized the need for further partnership and collaboration between Ghana and Iran in the areas of Education and Health Care delivery.

The leader of the Iranian team welcomes and thanked the regional Minister and his team for the confidence reposed in them and further assured the team that the Iranian investors and business men are more that prepared to take advantage of the huge opportunities in the Northern Region.

The Iranian Team Leader hinted that, the first batch of investors and business executives from Iran will very soon visit Ghana to access the business potentials in the northern region.

The Northern Regional Minister, Hon Salifu Sa-eed was led by the Ghana’s Ambassador to Iran, Hajj Sayuti Yahaya Iddi.

The Ghanaian delegation that accompanied the Northern Minister includes, the DCE for Mion and Dean of MMDCEs in the Northern region, Hon Mohammed Hashim Abdullah, MCE for East Gonja Municipal Assembly Hon Mohammed Tamimu, MCE for Savelugu Hajia Ayishetu Seidu, CEO of Top Events, Mr. Issah Abdul Nasir and Mr. Alhassan Ahmed Badawi.
