Mfantsipim Old Boys Association (MOBA)’s annual Praise Concert which was birthed on the basis of giving God praise and gratitude is here again promising to be even more exciting than the previous editions have been.

Organizing this year’s Concert with Wesley Girls' High school old girls association (WHGS-OGA), MOBA – GEY HEY Gospel Explosion ’18 seeks to bring together the MOBA-GEY HEY fraternity, their families and friends in an atmosphere of praise, worship and thanksgiving to God.

Mfantsipim School and Wesley Girls High School, both in Cape Coast, were established on solid Christian principles by the Methodist Church. Over the years, students who have been privileged to attend the two Schools have been taught to recognize the Lordship of Christ and to respond in obedience to His call to be transforming influences in society.

It is not only about shaping their minds by feeding them with information in the various subjects studied in School, but more importantly it has always been about developing them spiritually, so that it has a significant impact on their lives and those around them.

This has resulted in good a number of products of the two schools heeding the call to become humble servants to God and country, working in all selflessness and dedication.

MOBA and WGHS-OGA, over the years have worked hard to promote their associations and more importantly and have contributed towards the development of their two schools. The two schools, arguably the oldest amongst all other secondary schools on the country can boast of products all over the world who are making massive impacts suing the basic Christian foundation given them in school as their guide.

They are also very passionate about the development of their schools and work tirelessly, in various ways, to ensure that they maintain their values and standards. It is therefore very significant for them to combine forces to organize the “MOBA - GEY HEY Gospel Explosion” together in Praise of the Lord.

It is only right for us to seek the Lord’s guidance in the affairs of the two schools and their Alumni associations. The fruit of our lips is the evidence of our salvation – where we acknowledge His name and His holiness.

MOBA – GEY HEY Gospel Explosion ‘18 will bring together the entire MOBA-Wesley Girls’ High School Old Girl Association (WGHS-OGA) fraternity, their families and friends in an atmosphere of love, joy and peace to glorify and thank God and seek HIS guidance and direction in the development of Mfantsipim School and Wesley Girls High School, their association and the lives of its members.
