Ibrahim Mahama's Aide exposes Wontumi, says Mahama never apologised

Businessman Ibrahim Mahama has never sent anyone to apologize on his behalf to Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bernard Antwi-Bosiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi says the Communications Aide to Ibrahim Mahama, Rafik Mahama.

According to Mr. Mahama, claims made by Chairman Wontumi that Mr. Ibrahim Mahama has apologized to him over their legal tussle and other maltreatment he (Wontumi) claims to have suffered under the former government is false.

Chairman Wontumi in an earlier interview on a Kumasi based radio station stated that the popular businessman sent an envoy that included the top hierarchy of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to render an unqualified apology to him.

Rubbishing the claims, Rafik Mahama who spoke to starrfmonline said at no point did Mahama apologize to Wontumi or sent any assigns to him and that the assertion should be disregarded and treated with the contempt it deserves.

“Mr. Ibrahim Mahama has never apologized or sent anybody to apologize to Wontumi on his behalf. If you don’t offend someone how do you apologize to that person? Mr. Ibrahim Mahama is busy creating jobs and improving the lives of countless individuals. He doesn’t have time for that. He, Wontumi’s assertion is just a figment of his own imagination. It should be treated with the contempt it deserves,” he stated.
