LIVE UPDATES: Dwarfs vs Hearts of Oak (Ghana Premier League)

Hearts must beat Dwarfs to put their season back on track Hearts must beat Dwarfs to put their season back on track

Accra Hearts of Oak face-off with Ebusua Dwarfs in the outstanding fixture of match day three of the 2017/2018 Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians have not had the best of starts to the season, picking just a point from their opening two games with pressure already mounting on coach Wellington.

The game at the Cape Coast Stadium presents Hearts an opportunity to get their first win of the season to ease the pressure on coach Wellington and push their season back on track.

Having fallen off the pace in the race for the title this early in the season, Hearts currently find themselves in 12th position and in the relegation zone.

Dwarfs on the contrary, are placed seventh on the league, with a win and a draw in their first two games. They are bent on returning to winning ways after drawing with Wa All Stars last Sunday.

The Phobians have been boosted by the return of midfield maestro Samudeen Ibrahim and winger Patrick Razak who are expected to play parts in today’s game.

Coach Wellington will take solace from the fact that Hearts have not lost to Ebusua Dwarfs in their last two meetings, and will be hoping that that run will continue on Wednesday.

The match starts at 3pm
