Eastern Regional Coordinating Council robbed

The Eastern Regional Coordinating Council (ERCC) has been robbed.

The unknown suspects took away number of computers.

The incident is the second time this year. Few months ago, the Public address systems at the Conference Hall of the Regional Coordinating Council were stolen in similar fashion by unknown suspects .

The incidents have exposed the weak Security at the Regional Coordinating Council.

Information gathered indicates that, the entire Regional Coordinating council has about two old aged watchmen who run shift.

Many departments and Agencies at the Regional Coordinating council including the Attorney General’s Department are without proper security hence vulnerable to attacks and theft.

During the recent visit to the region by the Attorney General and Minster of Justice, Gloria Akufo, staff at the AG office appealed for improved security at the office.
