The Former Deputy Coordinator of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) Joseph Yamin has lashed out at President Akufo-Addo’s and his NPP government for the increasing rate of Ghana’s insecurity, stressing Ghana isn’t safe under his leadership.

According to the former Ashanti Regional deputy minister, the President has woefully failed in combating crime in the country despite being Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Arm Forces.

Speaking on Abusua Nkommo hosted by Austine Woode, Yamin said President Akufo-Addo must take issues of Ghana’s security very serious to clearly depict him as Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Arm Forces.

He argues there have been over 45 robbery attacks in the country since January 2018 leading to three people losing their lives.

His comment comes following after some gun wielding men attacked Royal Motors at Industrial Area in Accra and made away with over GHc500, 000 with two people being injured in the process.

He says ”Austine the rate of the country’s insecurity is really embarrassing under President Akufo-Addo and what surprises me is that he’e isn’t doing enough to combat it for the safety of the good people of this country. Seriously Ghana isn’t safe under Nana Addo”.
