Policeman allegedly murders Kumasi Girls High School female teacher

A police officer name withheld has allegedly murdered his girlfriend Vida Bonsu, a female teacher of Kumasi Girls Senior High School at Konongo, Asante Akyem Central in the Ashanti Region.

The unfortunate incident, according to investigation conducted by Abusua FM News occurred on Monday 29th January, 2018.

The Policeman, it is reported, stabbed Vida Bonsu, her supposed girlfriend on the neck following a heated argument between the two.

Mother of the deceased teacher, Akua Afriyie narrating the story to Abusua FM News said ''My daughter once introduced the policeman to me as her friend and I remember calling him my son- in-law”

She continued it was on one Monday in the evening when she received a call from an unknown person who told her that her daughter had stabbed herself in the body as a result of which she had been rushed by the police to the Agogo police station.

To her surprise she went to the directed place at Agogo only to be redirected later to go to the Konongo Odumase Police station where to her utter shock she was told the daughter had died.

Madam Afriyie further disclosed that it was the same mobile phone number that the policeman who was dating my daughter had used sometime ago to call her when the incident occurred.

According to her she wondered why till date the number as many times as they tried calling had not been picked for response arousing her suspicion for the uncalled-for-incident.

The police, she said, had claimed making an arrest in connection with her daughter’s death which she is yet to find out.

Meanwhile, the Ashanti Regional Police command has confirmed the incident pending the outcome of an autopsy report from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
