The Presbyterian Boys Senior high School (PRESEC) has launched its 80th anniversary with a call on society and past students to come together to celebrate the toils of gallant men whose vision laid the foundations of the institution.

The founding fathers include the succession of dedicated headmasters and teachers whose dedication at Odumase Krobo built the foundation on which missionaries produced a steady stream of trained teachers and church leaders who staffed the Presbyterian middle schools and now PRESEC.

The event under the Anniversary theme: ‘Powerful Past, Prosperous Present, Prominent Future.’ brought together school authorities, the school’s alumni association,(ODADE3 FRATERNITY) students and traditional rulers.

Headmistress of PRESEC, Lady Queene Asiedu-Akrofi launched a passionate appeal to the government, parents, past students, philanthropists and stakeholders in the educational sector to continue to hold high the integrity of the school and help with its developmental projects, since the quest for quality education was the shared duty of all.

Mrs. Asiedu-Akrofi stressed that the school's phenomenal growth and expansion over the years had come with hard work and discipline which had made products of the school exceptional and different from others in society.

Acting Moderator of the Presbyterian Church, Rev.Dr Victor Okoe Abbey and some invited dignitaries unveiled the logo for 80th-anniversary celebration at the launch.

The 80 years of existence of PRESEC will be celebrated with a full year’s programme laid down by past students (The ODADE3 FRATERNITY) with the involvement of the Presbyterian Church.
