President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has stated that he is not privy to the job statistics his government created onto the job market following his one year in office.

The teeming youth in the country have been crying for jobs but the President during an interaction with journalists today at the presidency said he lacks information about jobs created so far by his government.

The statistics on job created be it permanent or temporary, directly or indirectly, he assured he will be able to comment on in two to three months time.

‘The statistics on the jobs created, let’s not forget, I’m barely one year in office, some of these statistics are being collected as we speak now, so the labour statistics as to the number of jobs that is being created, those are not statistics I have had in any way, even for the government I believe that they are in the process of being assembled, so perhaps, in two to three months time, we will be able to answer that question in a more effective manner,’ he explained.

The government has been boasting of creating jobs but the President failed to mention the number of jobs created.
