Four die in accident at Suhum-Asuboi

Four passengers are feared dead in a fatal accident at Asuboi, a suburb of Suhum in the Eastern region while several others are seriously injured.

The gory accident occurred Monday afternoon.

According to an eyewitness, a VIP bus travelling from Kumasi to Accra collided head-on with an articulated truck with registration number AW 21-12 travelling the opposite direction.

Edward Owusu Darko narrating how the accident occurred explained that the VIP bus overtook an articulated truck and crashed into an oncoming truck.

He said several other passengers with serious degrees of injuries have been rushed to the Suhum Government Hospital.

Police officers from the Suhum Municipal Police Command rushed to the scene to retrieve and convey the victims to the Hospital.
