Ghana-born ex-Germany international Gerald Asamoah is urging Ghanaian players plying their trade in the German Bundesliga to be focused to make a mark in the league.

After the exploits of Tony Yeboah, CK Akunnor, Ibrahim Tanko and several others in the German league years ago, Ghanaian players are yet to leave up to that billing.

The 39-year-old who played for Germany at the 2002 World Cup want more Ghanaian players plying their trade in Germany to be serious with their careers.

“The problem is that things have really changed in the German game”he told Starr Sports

“They just need to be serious and be focused to get to where they want to reach so they really need to work extra harder to beat the whites to succeed”he added
