Special Prosecutor: Martin Amidu is a terrible choice – Chris Ackumey

A private legal Practitioner and a member of the legal team of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Chris Ackumey has described as ‘terrible’ the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s nomination of Martin Amidu as the Special Prosecutor.

He questioned why of all the people in the country, the President decided to choose the former Attorney General.

Mr Amidu’s nomination was announced today at the Flagstaff House by the President.
