The British Council is set to host the Harvard University Centre for African Studies (CAS), Harvard Alumni Association and the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers, Accra Hub for a mental health wellness discussion.

The event which will be moderated by Award-winning Broadcaster, Nana Aba Anamoah, will have the in attendance the Second Lady of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Samira Bawumia as the special guest of honour.

The mental health event dubbed: Mental Moments - Demystifying “Madness” is scheduled to hold on Friday, January 12, 2018, at the British Council, Accra, Ghana.

The event will feature talks and panel discussions on Mental Wellness and its associated stigma.

The lecture will be duly represented by stakeholders from the public health system, private practitioners, civil society organisations, development partners working in the health sector, some sufferers of mental health and experts such as Dr. Stella Safo (Chair of The Mental Wellness Initiative at Harvard Centre for African Studies), Dr. Kusi-Mensah (Psychiatrist at Akomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital), and Dr. Marbell-Pierre (Clinical Psychologist), among others.
