How Liverpool fans in Ghana welcomed Salah and Mane at CAF Awards

Liverpool Fans in Ghana gave their stars Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah a rousing welcome were upon their arrival in Ghana on Thursday ahead of the 2017 CAF awards.

The Liverpool duo were present at the 2017 CAF awards held in Accra on Thursday evening, with Egyptian Salah scooping the African Player of the year gong ahead of teammate Saido Mane and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the Accra International Conference Center.

Salah’s National team coach Hector Cuper also annexed the African Coach of the year whiles the Egyptian Pharaoh’s won the African National team of the Year.

With less than 24 hours before Jurgen Klopp's charges take on Everton in the FA Cup third round, the supporters in Ghana gave the duo a morale booster before departing off in a private jet back to Merseyside at the Kotoka International Airport that same night.

It was a memorable day for the Liverpool fans in Ghana as they had the opportunity to experience their icons in proximity and couldn’t have nailed it better singing their names for hours.
