The Ghana Drunkards Association has promised to release names of journalists, politicians as well as religious leaders who take alcoholic beverages before they perform their duties as part of data they have gathered

President of the association, Moses Drybone who gave the hint in a radio interview ahead of their annual conference slated for December 23, 2017 said there is nothing shameful about quaffing.

He indicated host of radio talk shows, Disc Jockeys (DJs) as well as some media practitioners in Ashanti Region are worst culprits as far as alcoholism is concerned.

“Even journalists in the capital drink more than some of us. Both talk show hosts and disc jockey will come top if we are to rate drinkers”, the President of the Association claimed.

Mr. Moses Drybone reminded all members of the Association of their upcoming national congress slated December 23 this year in Accra adding doors are open for new membership.

He however indicated that persons who are not into the consumption of alcohol do not qualify to be members and as such may not be allowed to take part in the national congress.

“Any person who quaffs is an automatic member and will be welcome to our annual congress, he added during radio interviews.
