KABA's funeral: Widow breaks down as she files past remains

Valentina Ofori Afriyie, widow of the late KABA could not hold back her misery as she filed past the body of her late husband at the forecourt of the Statehouse in Accra on Saturday, December 16.

Relatives, friends, and sympathisers had to hold her on either side to help her walk as she cried out uncontrollably towards the tent in which her husband’s body was laid.

It took efforts of some sympathizers to get her off the ground at some point because she could no longer bear the pain and thoughts of her husband’s absence.

The wife of the late broadcaster has been grieving since the passing away of her husband.

Thoughts of she living the rest of her life without the man she so much cherished must have sunk a little deeper when she took her last painful look at him in the casket.

The final funeral rites for the late KABA was held at the forecourt of the State House in Accra on yesterday.

Several sympathizers from all works of life graced the ceremony to bid their last respect to the late broadcaster.

The ‘Eko Sii Sen’ host tied the knot with his wife, Valentina a year ago and welcomed their first baby girl a few months ago.
