Second phase of TV License Collection in Western Region launched

The Regional office of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, Twin City Radio, has engaged the services of agents to move from house to house across the Region to collect TV licence fees.

The effort which falls under the second phase of the TV license collection now include a collection manual to guide both collectors and payers at workshop and official launch of the second phase of the TV licence project at Sekondi in the Western Region.

The launching was held at GBC House in Sekondi on Thursday December 7, 2017.

The head of the TV licence team, Rev. Ebenezer Botwe, entreated the public to verify the agents that comes to them by using their phone numbers and other security measures put in place to avoid dubious persons from duping them.

The Regional Director, Mr. Philip Baidoo educated the public on how to confirm the authenticity and credibility of the agents by to confirm their identity, verify voucher numbers and identify invalid vouchers .

The launching was attended some selected journalists in the Region and the general public.
