Free-agent Daniel Nii Agyei set for Kotoko return

Daniel Nii Agyei could stage a return to his former Club Asante Kotoko.

The midfielder ended his contract with Congolese Champions TP Mazembe after five years with the Club.

Nii Agyei according to reports refused to extend a new deal with the former CAF Champions League winners after clinching this year’s Confederations Cup title with the Club.

Multiple reports in the media indicates Kotoko CEO Kwame Kyei has been in talks with the midfielder to consider a return to the Club.

The 29-year-old spent three seasons with Kotoko before joining TP Mazembe where he achieved several laurels with the Club.

Coach Steve Polack will be elated to have the experienced midfielder in his set-up for next year’s CAF Confederations Cup campaign.

The English manager wants to make some more additions to his squad before the start of the season.
