Ashanti Gold goalkeeper, George Owu has exhausted his contract with the former Ghanaian Champions.

The veteran net-minder joined the miners on a one-year deal after leaving division one side Sekondi Hasaccas.

The former Asante Kotoko and Black Stars goalkeeper is now free and will be hoping secure himself a move elsewhere.

"I was loaned to Ashgold by Hasaccas and as I’m talking to you now, my loan is over but my doors are opened to them and any other team that is interested in me". He told Silver FM.

George Owu who is now 35 years has vowed to keep for the post for another 4 years before bringing his career to an end.

“I want to play for the next four years, I am still active and I can still be in the post, you all saw my performance last season.”
