Ghana Premier league side, Dreams FC are said to re-engage Ashgold’s coach Charles Kobla Akunnor for the 2017/18 season.

According to the Executive Chairman of Dreams, Kurt Okraku, the Obuasi Club had shown interest in Akunnor after surviving them in the elite league but the management of the Kweiman team thinks otherwise.

Despite the interest, Okraku has called for the return of the former Black Stars captian to his mother club.

Akunnor is currently in attachment with English premier league side Tottenham Hotspurs on a knowledge-sharing trip and he is expected in the Ghana next week.

“Akunnor is already back to Dreams and after his European attachment he joins the team for pre-season so expect CK soon”, he told Starr Sports.

The Premier League is expected to start by the close of January next year and registration for the next season opens November 29.
