UK to provide grant for Land Administration Reforms

Accra, June 1, GNA - The United Kingdom (UK) is to provide a grant of 5.6 million pounds sterling (about 93 Billion Cedis) to Ghana for Land Administration Project Institutional Reform and Development.

An agreement for the six-year project from 2004-2009 would be signed at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning on Thursday June 3. A statement issued in Accra on Tuesday and signed by Ms Winnifred N. Mahama, Public Relations Officer, said Mr G.G. Wetherell, British High Commissioner in Ghana would sign on behalf of the UK while Mr Yaw Osafo-Maafo, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning would sign for Ghana.
