Country to experience cloudy and humid weather - Meteo

The Meteorological Service Department (MSD) says few areas of the coastal belt and some inland areas would experience misty and foggy conditions on Friday morning, which would later give way to partly cloudy and humid weather with intermittent sunny period.

A MSD forecast signed by Mr Elikem Setsoafia, Deputy Forecaster, said series of convective activities had been noticed propagating from Nigeria/Benin border towards Ghana.

It would affect most areas along the coast, some parts of the middle belt mainly the forest and hilly areas and even northern Ghana with thunderstorms accompanied by rain in the afternoon.

The statement said the night would remain cool and comfortable over the entire country.

Maximum and minimum temperatures during the forecast period - 0600 hours on Friday to 0600 hours on Saturday were given as: coastal areas, between 31 and 23 degrees Celsius; forest and mountainous areas, between 31 and 22 degrees Celsius and Northern Ghana, between 33 and 24 degrees Celsius.
