Electoral Commission Re-arranges Ghana Flag

Painstakingly investigations by a local radio station -PeaceFM - have revealed that the arrangement of the National colours (Red, Yellow and Green, with a Black Star in the middle) has somehow been re-arranged by the Electoral Commission (EC).

On the slip of paper, handed out to eligible votes who partook in the just ended voters registration exercise, the national colours are presented in a vertical way instead of the original and usually horizontal manner.

In an interview with Peace FM news on Wednesday May 5, the Director of Public Affairs of the E.C., Mr. Henry Okine admitted his anomaly. In defence, he revealed that at an earlier Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting with the various political parties, the E.C made this known to them. He also disclosed that 3million of these had already been printed, before they discovered the mistake.
