Nyantakyi, Afriyie to meet with Sports Minister

The Honorable Minister for Youth and Sports Isaac Asiamah has disclosed in an interaction with the media that he has invited the Ghana Football Association [GFA] President Lawyer Kwesi Nyantakyi and his Vice George Afriyie to his office today to settle amicably, the row that has ensured between them.

The media reported some weeks ago that there has been a massive misunderstanding between the two GFA gurus, with the vice president of the GFA Mr. George Afriyie accusing his boss of lack of transparency in his dealings. Mr. George Afriyie in the text message exchange with Nyantakyi said he will tell his children how unfair the President of the GFA has been to him.

This has sent shocks down the spine of football loving fans about the future of football in Ghana, but the Hon. Minister for Youth and Sports Isaac Asaimah has stepped in and called the GFA president and his Vice to his office today to resolve the issue.
