Executive Chairman of Jospong Group of Companies, Dr.Joseph Agyepong has stated that Ghana needs a strong industrialization culture to bridge the gap between Ghanaian and foreign work ethics and culture.

According to him, policy makers can build the Ghanaian economy by adopting industrialization culture which focuses on Ghanaians.

“Let us have a certain industrialization culture because the gap is very wide. If you compare Ghanaian to other foreign ethics and culture, you will always collapse and blame the Ghanaian of being too lazy,” he stated.

He added that business owners can bring up their employees in the way they want if employers expose their staff to the culture they want to see in their businesses.

The CEO added that business owners and policy makers must find solutions to the economic woes of the country for development.

“In building a Ghanaian economy, policy makers and business owner must focus on the Ghanaian. The Ghanaian is not too lazy as we think.”

He was speaking at the Ghana Economic Forum held here in Ghana.
