Hearts of Oak defender Vincent Atinga says they will defeat Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League matchday 22 outstanding game at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, on Sunday.

The Super Clash was initially scheduled for July 16 but Kotoko suffered a road accident on their way from Accra to Kumasi after losing to Inter Allies, when their bus rammed into another vehicle.

"Whenever we are playing a game at home there is some kind of pressure on us. Usually, it is because home games require hard work before we can win and please the supporters" Atinga to Radio XYZ.

"But it looks always different during our away matches. We play with ease and many at times achieve our target. The game this weekend is away in Kumasi and we have prepared very well ahead of it. We will neither lose nor draw to leave the supporters disappointed especially when the title race is very keen,” he added.

Atinga was the talk of town in March when he scored the only goal in the first leg from the spot after referee Joseph Lamptey pointed to the spot when Ahmed Adams blocked Samuel Yeboah's shot.

Hearts sit third position with 39 points, four points above Kotoko who are fifth on the log.

Goal understands that each player from the two clubs will wear a black armband during the game to respect Kotoko equipment officer Thomas Obeng Asare who did through the accident.
