Acting NPP General Secretary, John Boadu Acting NPP General Secretary, John Boadu

The Acting General Secretary of the NPP, John Boadu, has debunked allegations from the NDC that the NPP has a hand in the ongoing crisis at the Electoral Commission.

John Boadu noted that staff at the EC who are calling on the President to sack the EC boss are not NPP members and those alleging must prove with evidence that the party is behind what is currently going on the Electoral Commission.

He said this at the Brong Ahafo Regional Annual Delegates conference of the NPP in Sunyani.

He called for effective collaboration between government appointees and supporters of the party to help implement the good policies to bring relief to Ghanaians.

The Acting General Chairman of the NPP, Freddie Blay, addressing the gathering, commended the party executives and supporters for their hard work which won more votes for the party in the region.

Blay revealed that the Nana Akufo-Addo-led government, after assuming office, encountered huge debts at the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies across the country with Ashanti Region leading the park.

He noted that despite the changes, the government has good policies, including ‘One District, One Factory’ and the ‘One Constituency, One million dollars, which, he said, would bring prosperity and the needed development to Ghanaians.

He further urged communicators and serial callers in the region to counteract lies the NDC is spewing to discourage Ghanaians from having faith in the NPP government.
