Accra, April 19, GNA - Thirteen equities on the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) made gains during Monday trading to push the GSE All-Share Index up by 88.78 points to 6,290.4 points from the 6,201.62 points recorded last Friday.
Change for year was also up at 77.02 per cent.
Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) saw a price appreciation of 1,999 cedis to 79,000 cedis; Guinness Ghana Limited (GGL) went up by 835 cedis to 10,200 cedis while Societe-General Social Security Bank (SG-SSB) was 500 cedis higher at 29,500 cedis.
Other equities that saw positive price changes were Mechanical Lloyd Company (MLC), which had 300 cedis at 3,000 cedis; Enterprise Insurance Company (EIC) got 250 cedis at 17,250 cedis; Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) had 100 cedis at 17,100 cedis; Paterson Zachonis (PZ) was up by 99 cedis at 3,200 cedis; Unilever (UNIL) gained 94 cedis at 19,600 cedis while British America Tobacco (BAT) jumped up by 70 cedis at 7,450 cedis.
Accra Brewery Limited (ABL) shares went up by 30 cedis at 650 cedis; Cocoa Processing Company (CPC) saw a price appreciation of six cedis at 1,461 cedis while Pioneer Aluminium Factory (PAF) and Home Finance Company (HFC) made five cedis and one cedi at 750 cedis and 9,501 cedis, respectively.
Total number of shares traded was 116,500 with 54,800 shares of MLC changing hands. Fifteen other equities sold shares.
Market Capitalisation went up to 19,584.32 billion cedis from 3,160.22 issued shares.
