Asante Kotoko coach, Steve Pollack expects his players to be ready for action in two weeks.

Players and officials are yet to recover from the fatal accident last Wednesday night which claimed the life of their assistant equipment officer Kofi Asare.

This was after the team bus run into a stationary vehicle at Nkawkaw on their return to Kumasi after playing Inter Allies in Accra that afternoon.

Pollack has undergone surgery on his knee and currently on admission at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

"We are ready and must listen to the players after their recovery. It will be quicker than expected as in the next two weeks," the Englishman is quoted in the Graphic Sports.

"Everyone is doing well, including myself, and they only need to rest after going through a lot of stress in this period.

"We have only Ollenu and Nana Berkye yet to be discharged from the hospital."
